As a bankruptcy attorney, my goal is to assist clients in solving their financial problems, whether that involves trekking
through the complex maze of bankruptcy or simply assisting clients in developing a strategy for better budgeting. I start by
assessing your unique situation from information you have provided on an information sheet. Click here to access the
Information Sheet that we use. By assessing your unique information, I am able to offer advice tailored to your specific
circumstances. Clearly, the more complete and accurate the information you report on the information sheet, the better the
advice you will receive. My assessment consultation with you is completely free. If bankruptcy is an answer, my assistant,
Sandy, and I will help you as quickly, privately, and painlessly as possible toward the goal of reducing your debt.
Many people worry that bankruptcy is no longer possible. That is not true. The law changed in 2005, but the principal result
of that change is that bankruptcy is a more complicated process, requiring the compilation of a large amount of paper. If
someone has two houses or four cars or other "more than usual" assets, they may have a problem filing bankruptcy, but in
ordinary circumstances, it is quite rare that I consult with anyone who cannot file bankruptcy.
